Some dreams are small, some dreams are big. Some dreams fill very little in the everyday
life, some affect absolutely everything. For the young girl, Linnea Albrechtsen, her biggest
dream fills everything in her life. She might keep it hidden, but it is her mind, always, and it
is a pleasure for me to tell you about this dream!

There is two sides of young girl Linnea. Sometimes you will see her on horse back with
matted hair, no makeup and dirt everywhere. An hour or two later you will see her all clean,
with full make-up and brushed and pilled-up hair as she is almost glued to her pen and
paper. With a camera hanging around her neck and fashion magazines is all over the place
she tries to relive the latest trend by yet another designer and prepares to tell the world
about it on her blog.

In Linnea's early ages her sister found out that she by giving Linnea a fashion magazine
instead of a teddy bear could make Linnea shut her mouth much easier. Linnea has always
loved to create, read something about fashion and rewrite it to her own. She has always
loved taking pictures in connection with the things she has written and with these pictures
make collages that fitted into the context. Linnea clearly has a passion for fashion, but also
something special for models. Seeing a runway show or reading a magazine is not just
something that gets out of Linnea's head as easy as it got in. The young girl actually spends
the same amount, if not more, time to find out which models whom are walking down the
runway and whom are inside the magazine as she does reading/seeing it. While she does this,
she is dreaming her biggest dream: becoming one of these models herself.
Doing her whole life Linnea's parents have told her that if she does not have any dreams, she
has nothing. They have told her that even though many bad things might cross her way and
try to stop her doing what she does, she should always let her dreams be her guide, and that
she should follow this guide without hesitation. They say her dreams will guide her to the
right place, a place of happiness, and this stands clear to Linnea as she follows her dreams.
Her following her dreams might not be visible to the world, as she is afraid to be judged by
the people around her. Growing up in a city where it is almost illegal to have other dreams
than getting a good education, finding a nice job, getting pretty kids and go to high-class
cocktail parties Linnea is afraid to be stand too much out. She is afraid of being labeled as
the weird girl because her interests are others than booze and partying. She lives in fear of
people finding her blog, for people to know the true answer to why she declines to hang out.
Her small body is filled with all these thoughts day in and day out, but the small body also
fells just as empty as it fells filled because she does not think she is on quite the right track of
following her dreams. Not yet at least. Because with that said, she knows she soon will get
away from this, and that will be when she turns 18. The age where she can do everything she
wants to do. As soon as she turns 18, she says, she sure will spread her wings, jump from the
nest in the big three, hoping to fly somewhere she can fulfill her dream with no one judging.

"There is gonna be times where people tell you that you can not live out your dreams. All
you gotta do is turn around and say 'watch me'"
Linnea's best advice when it comes to following dreams is to forget about what the world. She is afraid of getting judged herself and she knows how much it slowly ruins her way to
follow her dreams along side with burning her up from the inside. She is sure that when she
turns 18 and let go of everything and everyone she knows to follow her dreams it will be the
best thing she has ever done. Judging people might have been a bump on her way so far, but,
she says, there will often be as much, if not more, people, like her parents, who are positive
about your dream and people who will help you along the way reaching your dream. So, stop
thinking about others, think about yourself, think about what you want, she says. It is your
life, your dreams and your choices. Go for it!
