When I was younger I didn't get to leave the dinner table before I'd emptied the glass of water in front of me. We all know its important to drink water, but how important is it really? I've done the research for you!
First off, drinking water helps balancing your lymph system. The lymph system is what helps your body fight infections and performing its daily function. This means that you will lie flat on your bed and your brain would be absolute blur all day and night if you don't get water.
Secondly, water will hydrate you muscles. And let me tell you this: Dehydrated muscles is a absolute no-go! Because this will make you a limp carrot and you will be seeing absolutely no difference even how hard and much you work out, and thats a tragic waste, isn't it?
Thirdly, drinking water will help your skin clearing up and making it glow. This because the water will help purgee toxins from your blood. This purging will also help the your whole body getting cleaned - liver, blood and everything - which will make it easier for your body to get into shape.
In the fourth place, water will also help against bloating and being stupefied by tiredness because its helps your digestive system to function! And let us not forget a top-notch, for those who want to loose weight, fact about drinking water: It contains zero calories and it will help you make you feel full!
So lets sum up; you would be sick and not be able to walk without water. Water cleans you out from the inside, this including your blood, liver and skin. It helps your body to get into shape, looking more toned, it makes you feel full and it also helps against bloating and tiredness. (I suddenly sees why it was so important for my mum and dad to have me drink that glass of water!)
I'm sure we, you and I, can now agree on drinking more water! But how? Check these tips out:
- Always have a little bottle of water with you everywhere you go. In your back, on your nightstand ect. Having a water bottle around you will most likely make you take a sip of water instead of snacking now you know how good drinking water is for you!
- Drink water with every time you eat. At with that i man with every meal and every snack
- Eat more fruit. Fruits have a high content of water and that water will help your hydration when you eat them
- Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up in the morning. Drinking water on an empty stomach will help your body by making it easier to absorb nutrients. Drinking a glass of water will also help you loose weight, if thats what you want to, because when you drink half a liter of water in the morning your metabolism will boost with nothing less than 24 %. Sounds pretty good, huh?
