I have experienced a lot of different things this year, and one of them was to get the courage to start a blog. This blog has been like a baby to me since then and I put a lot of effort into keeping it going every day. But, honestly, it is all worth it. I love the connection my blog gives me to you, to other bloggers, to the world. I love the feeling I get when someone bring up my latest post when I meet them. I love how this blog have made me a more outgoing person. I love how this blog have made me more willing to take chances. I could continue this for a while, but that would get all too cheesy. But I will take a little moment to be cheesy, though, because none of this would ever have happened without the support I get from you guys. So; Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Anyway, back to what you came here for: Lots of things have happened on my blog even though it is only a few months old, and what time is better than now to take a little look back on some of the things that have happened. I present you; the 5 Most Read of Ouvrir La Bouche 2014.

I started out by only posting recipes and tips to living a healthier life, but lately I have been posting also fashion and photography posts, and especially the last one, my photography posts, have you taken to you more than I ever would have thought of. Because even though my post "Paris On Film" were only 2 days old when the year ended it was on the top of the list of being most viewed on my blog. This came as a surprise to me really, but it sends me a clear message to me about making more out of the pictures I post on my blog, and I am really excited about that! Many more photograph post will come this year!

Another thing that surprised me when I saw the list of most viewed post of 2014 was when I saw one of my outfit posts on it. I clearly remember me taking this pictures alone in my room a day in the early December days. I was scared, really, of sharing this post, because it was the first post where I was on more than one pictures - in this I was on every single picture. I was simply afraid that my readers would not like it. All these hard feeling were bought to shame, though, when I posted it. "It is way more personal", "It is more alive", "It is more you" the comments said, and they were right. I'm looking forward to give the blog life with a personal touch of mine in both outfit posts and others in the new year.

To my surprise there is only one recipe in the the top 5 of most viewed in 2014, but with that said it doesn't surprise me that it is this exact recipe. I've made these pancakes whenever we have had bananas in the house for a couple of years now and I never seem to get tired of them. I eat them both as breakfast, lunch and dessert, I even bring them to school sometimes. A good thing about these is that you can take them everywhere you go as they can both be eaten warm and cold as well as they can be eaten with a range of options of sites. If you haven't tried them yet, please do yourself the favour and make a bunch!

This year I had a very busy December and even though how bad I wanted to be in all Christmas mood nothing really seemed to worked until I tried searching Christmas pictures on the internet. This somehow made my brain go all christmasy and I finally felt the holy joy. But apparently I was not the only one experiencing a lack of Christmas Spirit that year, because when I shared the first 10 of my Christmas-mood-pictures it went straight into my most read list. I hope the Christmas spirit reached you all and that you all had amazing Christmas.

The last thing on my top 5 is my first "Postcard from..." post and my first real post about my adventures around the world. This postcard is from my very first travel alone. Well, I wasn't completely alone, I had a friend with me, but without my parents. This was a bit of an adventure of it self. Everything, though, went great and we had amazing time on the beautiful island!
I take it as a privilege being able to travel the world and share pictures and stories from all over the world with you, and more will come soon!
Happy New Year!
xx Emma
